Dogma is good, though not my fave Kevin Smith movie:
Jersey Girl * Clerks 2 *** Chasing Amy *** (and thats for Jason Lee's performance alone...Ben Affleck completely sucks when hes a lead actor) Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back ***1/2 Dogma **** Mallrats **** Clerks *****+ (any movie that philosophizes on independent contractors who work on the Death Star in Star Wars can never get enough stars from me) And for the movie I saw at the theater this past weekend: 300 ****1/2

I will agree with you on #23. It was a decent movie and one that was not easy to figure out. But it still didn't stack up like I was expecting. I agree with 3*
Meet the Robinsons - Not a bad little movie. There was some good comedy moments and some surprises in how things shake out. *** Disturbia - Shia LaBuef has come a LONG way since his days on the Disney Channel's "Even Stevens." The "Transformers" star had a great role in Disturbia and didn't disappoint. Sarah Roemer is hot too!!! **** |

1408 was still a let down. I was really interested in seeing this movie before hand, and I wasn't impressed. You gotta love Steven King's ability to screw up a decent story.
