Default How do YOU do Halloween?

Just curious what some of you do, if anything, for Halloween

For me, I've never been BIG on Halloween, but I did used to at least dress up some and go out....but virtually never spent much money on a costume.

For example, one year 4 of us all got into full costume, including masks, and drove around to people we knew, knocked on the door, and never said a word while letting them try and figure out who we were (probably get shot or hauled away in handcuffs these days)

More recently a friend of mine and I took took a casual male outfit (flannel shirt, blue jeans, tennis shoes) and a female outfit (dress, shoes, wig) and split both outfits vertically...in other words a left and a right side. Then he wore the left side of the male outfit and the right side of the female outfit and I wore the reverse. This also meant each of us shaving facial hair on our female side and applying makeup.

...prolly have a picture around here somewhere, but it looked better 'in person'

These days? I rarely do much of anything...rarely dress up and yes, I'm one of those guys who usually turns lights off so trick or treaters walk by.

Don't piss off old people- the older we get, the less life in prison is a deterrent.
I'm pretty confident my last words will be 'well crap, that didn't work'.
Of all the things I've lost over the years, I think I miss my metabolism most of all.
Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together.
I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it.
Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike?

I have a friend who's favorite holiday is Halloween. He would always have a costume of some sort. After I stopped trick or treating as a kid, I stopped dressing up and caring about Halloween.

I've been moonlighting and working every Friday night for the past 2 months and tomorrow will be the first Friday night I have had off in a while, I think I will enjoy not doing anything other than handing out candy...

I do always carve a pumpkin though...have been doing that for as long as I can remember...

There's a missing option that I would have chosen...

Take your kids out trick-or-treating

This year I "dressed up" in jeans, a winter coat and a wool hat, prompted by cold, rainy weather. I guess I went out dressed as a wuss.
