Default Anyone like Beer?

Thats right. Miller time might be back. Rumors have been floating that Reggie Miller might sign with Boston. I know a lot of you have prolly heard this news. But to be honest. I hope he does. Want to see the rivalry between him and Spike Lee. And those clutch 3 pointers again. What a onslaught of 3pts they would have on there team to. good grief. If that takes place I see KG averaging over 30 a game. There gonna have to gaurd the top of the key. And that leaves KG 1-1.

KG's point totals may actually drop with his new team.....Pierce and Allen will take far more shots than KG's previous teammates ever did. Adding Miller certainly wouldn't get KG more....unless it's all 2nd chance points.

Remember, too....Miller is 42 and 'retired' 2 years ago...and would play only about 15 minutes a game.

What is it with guys 'unretiring' all of a sudden. Penny Hardaway signs with the Heat. Allan Houston is possibly signing with the Mavs. I mean let it go already, guys....you made your millions and your game is gone. Enjoy retirement. Would a ring, with you playing a minor backup role, really be that satisfying?

I really hate the "I'm retiring at the end of this season" announcements in the middle of the season. It's not like the need to get a head start on their 401K paperwork with HR.
Geez how many rocking chiars do you need to be presented with by the opposing team?

They get older and can't remember why they retired in the first place!

THEN...there is that big pile o' money and....

I think this is part of the problem with this trade at least from the Celtics perspective. All three of these players besides Reggie Miller have been an important part of their team and they are going to have to share.

This is somewhat like Meverson going to Denver but it involves two players instead of one and I am sure Reggie Miller will want a shot or two as well.

I don't even really know how Meverson going to Denver effected the team chemistry because if it not Lebron or the NBA playoffs I would not even watch the NBA at all anymore.

My computer crashed. I've been trying to edit the previous post for twenty minutes.

First edit: Hope you understand the quote. Yea' I'm that old.

Second edit: Now that was a great comeback. "Oh, snap!"

Well so much for Reggie coming back. He has told the Celtics he plans to stay retired.

Story Here
