Stephen Jackson
Should he have been thrown out of tonights game?
He said nothing to the Refs, he said nothing to any of the Dallas players... All he was doing was clapping down the court at the end of the game.... I don't think so.

I'm not an NBA watcher...except for the occasional PO game (troy...PO means play off ). My opinion on the NBA and their "cracking down" on players is BS. Some of it is warranted, yes, but 75% of the time this season when I've seen players assessed a technical or thrown out its been for ticky tack stuff. I realize they are trying to prevent a Pistons/Pacers brawl, but come on...that was a rare incident. By doing this you aren't preventing anything...you're building up the frustration in the players and who knows...maybe the next time an official will get is butt kicked.

You know. I for one am glad they tossed him. His bad playing was pissing me off. lol.
Other then that. There was no excuse to toss him. None. I hope the League looks into that call. Ref should get suspended from all GS games. BS call. I know when they played 3 the Warriors fans where chanting CUBAN SUCKS CUBAN SUCKS. I saw him throwing his hands up in the air, standing up. He was egging them on. I didnt see the league fine him for that. So why does Jackson get tossed for the same act. Granted one is a player the other is owner. But Cuban has been fined by the league more then any other owner. Hope they do something about it. |
