After spate of injuries, Yankees fire conditioning coach
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2858274
Too funny. Wanting put the blame somewhere. How boout a ton of injuries is the problem. Relax, let them hit their stride, buy a pitcher or 3 and they will run off 10 in a row and 24 of 30 and noone will remember the early slump.

There's 12 in a dozen, 144 in a gross.......how many in a spate?
The Yankees haven't been the only team dealing with injuries...nor even the most...........yet they were still the 2nd to the last team to reach 10 wins (and since they swept my Twins, that meant that they were 6-14 against the rest of the league before last night) |

not suck.......but they've dug themselves a bigger hole than they'd prefer, I'm sure. They'll need to go 85-53 the rest of the way to reach the 'magic' 95 win mark that usually puts a team in strong playoff contention.......while the Red Sox can go 79-58 to reach that same mark. Big difference? Maybe not...but more pressure....
