Mayakoba Classic Field
I'll start by apologizing for reporting, incorrectly, last week that the Match Play championship took players from last week's field....it is THIS week that is happening. Very thin field for a very thin purse.....being held near Cancun.
Defending Champion is Fred Funk (who opened this tourn last year with a blistering 62. He shot a 71 on Sunday to tie for the lead with Coceres...and beat him in a playoff) Winners share is 630K This track is a par 70 meaning that there are 8 less chances for eagle during the tournament....BOOOOOOOOOO.Even that little weasle KENSK had an eagle and a 63 in the 3rd round though......if he can eagle ANYBODY can...
