Million shares

Did something happen to folks who had 1,000,000 shares? I had a bunch and now all I have is a max of 100,000. Please advise!

periodically Orren will cash them out and move all back to 100K. It is a common and normal procedure

it's one of those things we determined as a course of fairness a few years ago...and now, given people can day trade all 100k splits as if they're 10k holdings, it's especially true

when the game was initially set up, the intent (on my end, not sure about original partners) was that stock splits be nowhere near as plentiful as they became and especially that very few would reach a 2nd split during their careers....splits came too fast, careers last longer...something needed to be done to minimize the 'damage' of missing or accidentally selling split shares. Those of us who played the old Wall Street Sports remember the anxiety some had of missing a split and watching the guy they were chasing on the leaderboard run away from them because a split they missed was doing well..........and here, that would be at a 10:1 ratio or even 100:1 if you were 2 splits behind

We had many discussions on alternatives, including creating multiple iterations of the same stock, etc, but this is where we ended up. At the time, I thought it may be a temporary solution, but it's been going on for years now. I regret selling these shares a lot less than I regret not having more ways to invest the ever-growing amounts of inactive cash.

So, as Rich said, I try to sell off shares over 100,000...and since I currently do this manually, usually only on a Saturday.
