Is this govt out of their minds? The dems know damn well after Jan there will be less spending approved other than what will help OUR country. That's the reason they crammed a 4000+ page bill that few if any will get to read the entire pork filled crap bill. More billions for Ukraine (with no oversight where the money is actually going in one of the most corrupt countries on the planet how much is Europe pinching in?)........and Zelenski has already informed joint Congress that whatever we have given is not enough (130 BILIION so far.)

Here's some of the CRAP in this Omnibus debacle....

It expressly prohibits CBP funding from being used to improve border security........but at the same time, allocates $410 million towards border security for Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, and Oman. WTF?

$1,438,000,000 for membership in global multilateral organizations, including the UN. Not another country on the planet gives that much.

$65 million for salmon? "Salmon" is mentioned in this bill 48 times!

$3 million for bee-friendly highways, & another $5 million for the salmon.

$65.7 million for international fisheries commissions. WTF?

$575 million for "family planning" in areas where population growth "threatens biodiversity." Meaning taxpayer funded abortion. WTF?

$65 million in two programs for Senator Leahy (some nonsense about Lake Champlain), and a federal building named for Nancy Pelosi (known disgraceful insider trading expert).

$3.6 million for the "Michelle Obama Trail." IN GEORGIA.....has she ever been seen hiking in Georgia? In what world does a hiking trail cost 3.6 mil?

$477k for "antiracist" training from the Equity Institute

$3 million for the LGBTQ+ museum in NYC

$1.2 million in "services for DACA recipients"

$4.1 million in various career programs for one of the richest counties in the US (Fairfax, Va)

If an additional $47 billion in Ukraine funding isn't enough for you, the bill also authorizes a "Ukrainian Independence Park" right here in DC.

Also, monuments for "journalists" and service animals...

The bill also renames 25 post offices, in addition to the dozens we've already renamed this session. (I'm amazed that we haven't run out of post offices to rename yet. It's bound to happen eventually.) How many millions will that cost?

$524.4 million for a DEI and "structural racism" focused NIH subdivision . WTF?

$300k per year for the Continuous Plankton Recorder.(marine biological)

Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey secured $995,000 for “Grid Resilience and Equity in the Energy Transition” research at the University of Massachusetts. Notice the word “equity” in the title. That means the left is going to redistribute taxpayer dollars to fix some perceived racist inequality in the energy system. WTF?

Rhode Island Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse and Jack Reed requested $1.6 million of federal taxpayer funding for Roger Williams University for the “development of equitable growth of shellfish aquaculture in Rhode Island.”

TONS more that I have neither the patience to look up nor the stomach to persue.

Republicans eliminated earmark spending and this administration is bringing it back.
