JockStocks Hall of Fame
Note the link to the JockStocks Hall of Fame on the Oasis page:
http://www.jockstocks.com/oasis/hof.php I seriously think this page needs to be updated. Right now, it has only one member: Truckstop. And his memorial entry was in honor of his passing away moreso than his performance in the game. So, with this context, should we consider inducting some new worthy members into the JockStocks Hall of Fame? Some (active) nominees, from my perspective: rich76 Being bballjer44 rrock33 ProneEisenrott badgersfan greengaels Some (retired?) nominees: Polar The Great Northern cmcjr99 mixmasterc RedSoxFanFiver Thoughts?

I only see 4 or 5 names on that list that have been successful in all comps. A number of those other names were not here long enough to warrant HOF status....and one anti-American pos that was here long enough, in addition to being very successful in comps, that I would NEVER vote affirmative for.
Just some of the rude things he has said over time: To me it get it right or don't get it at all..... but you play the normal merican power plays n change the rules when it suit...... seems it happen it fun games just like real life............... One day you'll get it ..... I just like takin shots at mericans cos it fun........ you go to merica as a foreigner see how fun it is for ya.... Ha!!!!...... What you say here Troy.......... America cheats???... No surprise to the rest of the World....

We never did put criteria together for what should constitute HOF consideration...and, over time, I've just kinda forgotten about it. If we wanted to do that now, I'd have no problem with it...there's just soooo many things ahead of it on my list.

Your "retired" list should include:
Herbhub Slippery Slope Thunder gulch Floyd 54 All great players and had contributed a lot to making the site a fun place to hang out during games, or just a Sunday afternoon of BS.

Perhaps there should be two categories in the Hall of Fame:
(1) Jock$tocks game accomplishments: comp wins, TV$, etc. (2) Contributors to the Jock$tocks community Just like most sports hall of fames have categories for players and categories for managers/announcers/etc.

Was thinking along those lines as well....
HOF Competitors HOF Contributors Honorable mentions both I know your feelings re Polar, Rich. However, he and Being made my life a TON easier over the years with their spreadsheet help. To this day I use spreads I believe originated by both either directly or by my learning from them to create others.

Just picking one off the top of my head would be TGN.
Guy was a machine until he vanished... Others are worthy as well, this would be my pick at this time. I personally would prefer members of the HOF be retired and no longer active. Maybe something else for active players. KAPA... Kick A$$ Players Award  Oh yeah, how's it going peeps? Have not been around for a while.
