Oddest double play I'VE ever seen...

The Twins get a solid outting from pitcher who's a definite question mark- 7 shutout innings. Then they bring in a reliever who's been to Venezuela and back since Tuesday....normally solid, but gives up 2 runs to tie it.....

So it's 2-2, top o' the 9th.....they opt to bring in Nathan. He gives up a seeing eye single, but then Carl Crawford hits a solid double.

Only the guy on first isn't all that fast and gets held up at 3rd.....but Crawford keeps running. The guy on 3rd coulda/shoulda just stayed there, but he sees Crawford coming and runs toward home. The ball is already being relayed in! Ok, he's toast......but Crawford coulda walked to 3rd...he runs back towards 2nd! HE'S toast. What shoulda been runners on 2nd and 3rd with no out ended up being a double play. Nathan k's the next guy, Morneau hits a walkoff on the first pitch of the bottom of the 9th........TB loses its 10th consecutive game at the Dome.

I was watching that from the kitchen at work and lost track of what I was doing....I figured it was gonna be 3-2 TB when I saw the hit...then the Twinkies manage to turn it into your everyday routine 9-4-2-6 double play
