This may be good...we were starting to lean far enough left we were taking on a lot of water..leaning back to the right should clear some of that up.

Some day this country will realize how flawed our party system has become. When a lot of our elected officials spend more time listening to lobbyists over constituents because that's how they think is best to get re-elected, their interests simply aren't where they should be.

Then when they spend time and votes doing favors for those lobbyists and again not doing what's right for their constituents it gets even worse. Election time comes around, they use that lobby group money to spend time they haven't really spent since the last election telling their constituents how much they care when they've proven for years they don't.

But, because voting is a privilege people don't like to squander, but politics is something a lot of people like to ignore, they walk into the voting booth and far too often vote by name recognition...helping to re-elect the very person that didn't pay attention to them last time.

That, and the penchant to think any idea the other party has is bad and should be blocked.

/ramble

I think this could be a good thing, too...if the Donald doesn't get in his own way and if he brings in a good cabinet.

EPA dissolution raises an eyebrow.....more so than 'the wall'.

How does his comment about the EPA generate a question about global warming?

Let's remember, there's a lot of things The Donald said he wanted to do that even people voting for him know won't happen.
He thinks he just got elected CEO of the United States while he is only chairman of the board.
That wall is about as likely to become reality as them moving the Great Wall in to be it.

we have TOO much govt control.....it is how we got our freedom, fighting that. Safety and health and some labor laws...yes. Beyond that....shove it govt. This is the land of the free....we do not want any more socialism than we have to. The bigger the programs the more of our money they want, I understand that up north you folks have pretty much grown up with it.....I/we have not and want no part of it. btw....how's the healthcare system doing in beautiful Canada? I hear people are dying waiting for procedures. No thanks bud.

well, I'm unaware of any complaints up here about our health care system....and you won't hear any from me!!...
I have taken advantage of it on a couple of occasions.

if your waiting on procedures....its likely that mri test as we have a rare few of those.

All I was meaning re EPA comment was the complete dissolution seems too much....a lessening of power and regs, sure.

Noted. Unelected bureaucratic groups like the EPA are destructive to our country....or anyone elses. The amount of cronie capitalism etc that goes on in these organizations is disgraceful.
