JUST got power back for a bit
looks like the "meteorologists" aren't as good as they think.
Tornado forming 8 mi away....rain and wind coming hard and the eye isn't anywhere near us yet. Still in S Carolina. Never got to finish my buys this morning.....bleah! Power will be gone again soon. Those being affected.....be safe. Fill your bathtubs.....you might need the water.

well been outside cleaning up and starting to put things back together. We were truly blessed that there was no real damage. Lots of tree limbs down....one missing my wife's car by a few feet. Lost a couple of bird houses......but just 8-10 miles from here they were hammered big time. It will be a few days before I get everything back to normal....but we are grateful it was no worse than it was.

Find us on  for updates, including site issues. Also now on Reddit, not that I'm sure what we're doing there yet.Don't piss off old people- the older we get, the less life in prison is a deterrent. I'm pretty confident my last words will be 'well crap, that didn't work'. Of all the things I've lost over the years, I think I miss my metabolism most of all. Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together. I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike?
