Default NASCAR market

So, I've done a bit of legwork, looking for more help here since this isn't my sport...and the Clash is this weekend

These drivers are active on our market, but not in the Clash
Justin Allgaier Xfinity
Trevor Bayne done re NASCAR*
Tanner Berryhill Xfinity
Greg Biffle semi-retired*
Matt DiBenedetto Truck series*
Daniel Hemric Xfinity
Kasey Kahne done re NASCAR*
Casey Mears done re NASCAR*
Paul Menard semi-retired*
Brett Moffitt Xfinity
Jamie McMurray Daytona only?
Ryan Newman no ride?
David Ragan part timer
Reed Sorenson part timer
Matt Tifft retired*
J.J. Yeley part timer

* = likely deactivate (what others should be?)

These drivers are in the Clash but not on our market
Austin Cindric
Harrison Burton
Justin Haley
Todd Gilliland
Cody Ware
BJ McLeod

These drivers are in nascar.com's top prospect list but not on our market or in the Clash
Corey Heim
Sam Mayer
Christian Eckes
Zane Smith
Chandler Smith
Noah Gragson
Ty Gibbs

So, who amongst the first group has no reason to remain active and who amongst the other 2 groups deserves an IPO?
For that matter, who can explain what's going on as it relates to us?
What does the Clash accomplish? Does it set the front row for Daytona?
First divis of the season would still be Feb 18, after Feb 17 Duels, right?

In your first section....deactivate the drivers you have marked with an asterisk.

Bayne has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis
Allgaier strictly Xfinity
Biffle....(best short track racer I've seen) is done
Debenedetto is exclusive to the truck series
Kane and Mears cannot get a ride...think they're done

Austin Cindric, IMO, will be the "next big deal" in NASCAR

The Clash is an exhibition to debut the new redesigns

The rest I do ot know about enough to make any judgements

Looking a little deeper

Thinking deactivate
Trevor Bayne done re NASCAR*
Greg Biffle semi-retired*
Matt DiBenedetto Truck series only it appears
Kasey Kahne done re NASCAR*
Casey Mears done re NASCAR*
Paul Menard 1 start in trucks, nothing in Cup since 2019
Brett Moffitt 7 Cup races in 2017, nothing since
Reed Sorenson 17 Cup races 2020, 0 in 2021, last top ten was in 2010
Matt Tifft retired*

Not sure worth keeping
Justin Allgaier last drove more than 2 races back in 2015, 2 last year
Tanner Berryhill his 2 Cup races last year were his first since 2014
David Ragan drove in only 1 race each of the last 2 years after full time rides before
J.J. Yeley - drove in 8 Cup races in 2021, last top 10 was in 2013

Wait and see?
Jamie McMurray Daytona only?
Ryan Newman no ride?
Daniel Hemric- splitting time with Allmendinger and Gragson

Austin Cindric took DiBenidetto's ride, so likely IPO
Justin Haley- full time ride
Harrison Burton- full time ride
Todd Gililand- full time ride
Cody Ware- full time ride
BJ McLeod- owner/driver in 28 races last year
Noah Gragson- splitting time with Allmendinger and Hemric

Corey Heim- trucks
Sam Mayer- xfinity
Christian Eckes- trucks
Zane Smith- trucks
Chandler Smith- trucks
Ty Gibbs- xfinity

Also with rides, so maybe worth an IPO
Cody Ware
Josh Bilicki

And a couple questions....Timmy Hill MIGHT run Cup races and Formula 1 driver and already 50 Jacques Villenueve may test the waters at Daytona

Meaning 9 probable IPOs and 9-13 deactivations

But please, someone with knowledge feel free to check/correct me
