it's time to ressurect this thread...and give the devil his due!!
Favre has played...pretty good. I daresay, GREAT even! But it still bugs me that he has had his retirement accolades. Yes...he can still play and yes, he can still lead his team. I'm not so sure his announced retirement wasn't a ploy...to get out of Green Bay. Any way you look at it...he is where he wants to be right now. He just has 2 monster teams in his way! Should he win (god forbid!)...I would expect another retirement (three week minimum)...with a party and a cake and a trophy and the press.

1.) Vikings are 0-4 in Super Bowls 2.) Vikings are 0-4 in last 4 NFC Championships 3.) Favre has played in 4 NFC Championships 4.) Favre threw 4 TD passes for the first time in his playoff career to get here 5.) Vikings lost 4 games this season....all on the road .....and, of course, Favre's number is....

I'm pretty confident my last words will be 'well crap, that didn't work'. Of all the things I've lost over the years, I think I miss my metabolism most of all. Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together. I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike?
