Your right 25.5 point per game and 10.6 Rebounds per game to go with 2 blocks per game is the #'s for a choker. Single handedly beat the Spurs in game 4. Is why the Spurs biggest fan David Spurn suspended him for scraping Steve Nash off the scorer's table. Yet when Duncan entered the court it was ok cuz the altercation didnt go to blows.

Amare Avgs.

23.9 pts, 9.2 reb, 1.2 assists, 2.29 blks

Yao

21.9 pts, 10.8 reb, 2.3 assists, 2.01 blks

Both after 55 games. Just curious Troy how you can say he is overrated. When there both about the same. Both over 50% from the field and Yao shoots 85% from the line.

Rich come on now. ARod was about 4-44 in the post season. It would be like Amare avg 5 points and 2 boards. Suns lost because of Stern's decision. I am tired of hearing all the experts saying the Suns would have won it all if not for that. Amare was never the Suns problem. Once it got crunch time the Suns get hurt with the no blood no foul style in the playoffs. They are a finesse team. Amare is far from the reason. If you ask me if Arod could have at least batted .250 or hit a few HRs NY would have won it all. But hard to compare the two. Also remember Amare came off micro surgery. Still played his arse off.

Only reson I say he is overrated is when the votes for the All-Star game he gets the Asian vote and is always like #1 vote getter. To me Tim Duncan is the best big in the West and of course the East you have Superman for the Magic. Yao is just kinda of a big oaf to me. My opinion. I wouldn't argue anyone else's opinion unless they said Yao is a top 30 player in the west. I can name at least 29 better.

Troy, I got nothing against ya man, but if this is how you rank these players I disagree. Saying Lebron is only a "top 30" player is terrible. He just became the youngest to 10,000 points.

Rasheed is on his decline, and how would getting Redd some help make you rank him higher? Either you have it or you don't, right?

Don't mean to rain on your parade here but you said you could list 30 players better than Yao IN THE WEST!!!!

Garnett, Pierce, Bosh, Rasheed, Superman, LeBron, Redd, Arenas, RIP, Billups, Allen, and Jamison are all in your "top 30" but play in the east....so start over there fella...

H20 these are in no order. I would put Lebron around 15-20. He shoots at a very low %. If he were on a team in the west he would be no better than Jason Kidd. He attacks the rim but has no shot outside of the paint and is overrated to me. Chews his nails too.

So because he chews his nails he's a bad player? That's funny. He's a great player who demands the double team, I guess it couldn't hurt him to work on his outside shot.

He has the potential to be great but for now he is overhyped by the NBA like the WNBA. They shove both of them down our throat. Always looking for the next MJ. There will never be another M.J. Not even the rapist Kobe is that good. BTW I think it was consensual but being a Laker-Hater it is fun to say. He is a definite Cheater though!

Hey Troy.....why is it that you conveniently ignored this:

"Don't mean to rain on your parade here but you said you could list 30 players better than Yao IN THE WEST!!!!

Garnett, Pierce, Bosh, Rasheed, Superman, LeBron, Redd, Arenas, RIP, Billups, Allen, and Jamison are all in your "top 30" but play in the east....so start over there fella..."

Those names subtracted from your "30" leave only 18 better.....so?

wow. I am sorry. I cant believe on line 30 you have OKUR on that list as better then YAO!. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Not only did you name players from the EAST. Your just naming peeps.

First of all. OKUR isnt better, Carmelo isnt better.(olympic team doesnt matter), Ray Allen is a stroker but isnt better, David West is good but not better, Kidd is great but not better(35% fg pct), AK47 isnt better either. SHEESH. Talking about stretching for players. Good grief. Taking those players out and the ones not from the WEST. He is in the top 17.

according to the nba rankings (via msn sports) the top 10 active players in the NBA are.....

1. Tim Duncan
2. LeBron James
3. Kobe Bryant
4. Steve Nash
5. Kevin Garnett
6. Dirk Nowitzki
7. Tracy McGrady
8. Dwyane Wade
9. Yao Ming
10. Shaquille O'Neal

surprising that houston has two of the 10 and yet are trailing six other teams in the playoff race
