10 month old gets a gun permit in Illinois.
Yes you read that correctly.
 Story Here I love the response from the Illinois State Police who overseas who does and does not get a gun permit in Illinois. Only convicted felons should not have a gun permit according to the state police. The lieutenant from the state police goes on and says there is no age restrictions on who can receive a gun permit. Shouldn't this kids grandfather wait until the boy was a little older before he gave him a 12-gauge shotgun? Amendment II A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. It would seem to me that there is no age restriction on the age of gun owner. I just hope the local news does not give me a 10 minute dissertation on how everything about this story is so wrong on so many levels.

Sadly the local fox station here did a 5 minute deal on this last night.
Just like parents nowadays, thinking bigger better faster is, somehow, better. Should have just gotten him a Red Ryder so the kid could poke his eye out.

If those SOB's went on social security like the rest of the citizens of the US there would be PLENTY of $$ around to take care of our own........and ensure those still paying into the system that there would be something left for them as well.
