Meet the new boss, same as the other people who want to be boss
More than once its been mentioned here how little there is between the 2 parties. Someone did the political compass for the presidential candidates, and well those people who said that may have a point.
As it shows, all the major candidates and most of the rest save the 2 Dems that are the most long shot are Economically to the right, and socially authoratarian. In the compass's case authoratarianism or left and right isnt necessarily bad, until you get into the extremes. From my personal experience on what the people I know have gotten on their political compasses, Ive considered about 8 on up in any part of the spectrum pretty extreme, and thats where you got some of the far off Republican candidates (ie Tancredo, Newt)
