Been saying this
for 5 years now..............
On Monday, former Democratic strategist Pat Caddell told Fox News' Bill O'Reilly that the so-called "mainstream media" is purposefully suppressing news that would hurt Barack Obama. "It's a purposeful, conscious effort to suppress news that might hurt Obama," he told O'Reilly. "Look Bill, we’ve had liberal bias or bias in the press for a long time. And it’s gotten worse starting in 2008. But now we’ve got a press that is actively engaged in a reelection – putting out a narrative that Romney is a loser, they’re running polls… But Romney’s not my issue here. More importantly they not only decided to support Obama. On this issue the last two weeks what we see is a press that has decided that it will not tell the American people the truth.” Pat Caddell: “There is a purposeful conscious effort to suppress news that might hurt Obama” On Monday, we reported that Caddell told an Accuracy in Media conference in September that the media had become "an enemy of the American people" and a threat to freedom in the country. "When they desert those ramparts and decide that they will now become active participants, that their job is not simply to tell you who you may vote for, and who you may not, but, worse—and this is the danger of the last two weeks—what truth that you may know, as an American, and what truth you are not allowed to know, they have, then, made themselves a fundamental threat to the democracy, and, in my opinion, made themselves the enemy of the American people," he told attendees at the conference. Earlier in the day, Caddell told Fox News' Megyn Kelly that the media had become a modern-day version of the Soviet-era Pravda. "We are entering territory we have never entered before," he told Kelly. "We've never had a situation where the press has purposefully decided to pick up a narrative from the White House to not tell people things that happened in order to support their overwhelming candidate for president, Barack Obama." From biased reporting to skewed polls, the media - known here as the "Democrat-media complex" - is doing everything it can to ensure Obama is victorious in November. As a result, Gallup says that distrust of the media is at an all time high, "with 60% saying they have little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly." http://www.examiner.com/article/demo...uld-hurt-obama

I don't advise getting your information from the mainstream media...ever.
The media certainly played nicely with G.W. Bush's administration as well... Most "reporters" want to become friends with Washington insiders so they can get all the scoops...if they started outing all the weasels in Washington, they'd have no sources and no stories and then no air time. |
