Hey,

If anything, Hester was in on the first attempt, not the second. From the above view the ball was clearly behind the goal line.

Two sad calls by the officials on one play.

OK so here's my question let's say LSU wins tonight (i'm being nice to nick so I'll word it that way) who has the best argument for the national championship? LSU, USC, or KU?

Screw the BCS that system is FUBAR or we wouldn't have these two teams in this game to begin with (one from one of the weakest divisions and the other with 2 losses??? still trying to figure that out). THe AP voting is likely to be a bit closer. So if we put aside the BCS and go with the AP who's the real champ?

My vote would go to KU.

i think the beauty of this game is how it makes Delany look like a bigger --- than he already does.

I'm sure those of you who follow NCAA sports are aware of the comments BIG Ten Commish Delaney made this off season after seeing his conference lose two national championship games in the same season to the same "dumb" conference (a play on Delaney's words).

While I respect his desire to convince folks the Big 10 is an elite conference, at some point he has to accept reality. If losing two consecutive national championship games (three if you count BBK from last season) to the conference he claims is made up of some of the dumbest kids in the NCAA doesn't prove it to him, what will?

Keep in mind Nick this isn't a knock on OSU (even though I think they're proving beyond a doubt they didn't belong here this year just as they did last year in the championship game) but rather against Delaney and the Big 10's commissioner's office.

****edited to change the tone. didn't want it to come off as a crack against any specific team. after all, making it to the national title game (qualification argument aside) two years in a row is no small accomplishment.
