Default Royed Vs. Graji Divi ??

ROYED 1.73x receptions, 2.24x yards, 8x tds 9.58% per divi listing

GRAJI 1.58X recpetions, 1.77x yards, 3.2x tds 13.14% per divi listing

Sorry, but this makes no sense. IMO, clearly ROYED should have been way over 10% divi. Also, he should have far exceeded GRAJI's divi since he exceeded his projections a lot more than GRAJI exceeded his.

Can some please explain this discrepancy? Is GRAJI a divi fave like we experienced at the old site?? Or do we need another divi fix??

there are no divi favorites...our formulas are pure numbers

and yes, if a fix is needed, it'll get done...always has

Please verify that the stats that got inputted into the system are correct, too

I don't even know there's one due yet. Fixes kinda depend on when I can fit them in. Some days I'm working from home and can do them right after noon. Some days (like today) I'm in the office and usually wait until I get home at 6:30ish eastern. IF there are fixes due, I try my best to have them done by the time any games start.

that's cool, but since jenra was missed completely, i don't see how he does not get a fix.

pssst.....tell the new kid that when one player scores more than one TD he ALWAYS has gotten a "kick" in divi as opposed to one that score only one TD..........clearly

Cam, if the stats we have were correct, that's what our formulas spit out. You said the stats were correct, so..

seriously, it makes no sense that royed's divi can be less than graji's divi when royed far exceeded graji's estimates.

which one had 2 TDs? would not TDs logically impact a divi more than other stats? my formulas are not and never have been Larry Cotter's

All I'm saying is that regardless of how many td's graji royed far execeeded his estimates than graji did. i always thought that when trying to decide who is going to receive the higher divi, it is going to be the player who exceeded his estimates by the most amount. 8x td's is greater than 3.2x td's in anyone's book. he also exceeded estimates for recs and yds. I think it's also mentioned somewhere on the site that the larger a player exceeds his estimates, the larger his divi. I don't ever remember seeing anywhere that some gets an "extra kick" for scoring multiple td's. Did does this logic apply to multiple hr's for hitters?? does it apply to multiple goals for hockey players??? what would the "extra kick" be for pga...more than 1 eagle or ace?? what about for nba...multiple blocks or multople 3 point shots made??

If there is going to be an "extra kick" for something, shouldn't that be mentioned somewhere?? If it is, then I apologize for missing it.

The bulk of these formulas, including those for football, were written years ago with little to no change made to them. While the perception CAN be that multiples of things like touchdowns yield an 'extra kick' I assure you I have yet to write a formula that specifically does that...it's just how it sometimes appears.

The ONLY time I 'artificially' bump a divi outside of my formulas is the 3% given to a pole sitter in NASCAR...which is common knowledge.

There's been talk about possibly including an 'extra kick' for certain things like reaching 500 yards passing or 40 points in basketball or things like that...but that hasn't been done and doesn't fit your question.

In general, yes, the more a player exceeds projections, the higher his divi. That doesn't mean there aren't differences from one stat category to another, etc. All I know is I wrote these formulas years ago, any formula will have its quirks at times, and no individual player is a 'divi donkey favorite'
