What do you think the percentage of elected officials is who would need to be replaced with non-corrupt people to get our country back in shape?

Party politics thrown out, because both sides are just as guilty for getting us into this mess.

Personally, I think about 98% need to go.

I personally do not think it is that high but.......close. IMO many go there with good intentions but get corrupted by power and promised wealth. I've often thought about Congressional investigations and what happens after those sessions .......the scumbags get on their phones....call their stockbrokers and get get rich on insider trading. I have many other thoughts about congress and IMO they are generally a bunch of lying hypocrites that should be in jail.

The problem I have with holder is not that he is a demorat (can't help forgetting that "c" in that word) but because he is an idealogue that has no place in the office of the top cop/lawyer of our country. He is also a proven liar racist.......and can't get his face up his bosses azz far enough. He claims that one of his biggest accomplishments was suing States that passed voter I D legislation. I have one question.....if you cannot get in to a Democratic convention without showing an I D, why, on earth, shouldn't one need an I D to vote? NO ONE has EVER been able to answer that question.

The push for term limits always comes down to elected officials saying if they're not there long enough, they can't accomplish as much....yet if it was the same for everyone, they'd all have the potential for the same time in office.

The problem with the way DC works is...even once an elected official is out of office, quite often they just become lobbyists or some other situation where they're still involved...

But it's supposed to be an elected position, not a lifetime career. There's no WAY someone can be there 20, 30, 50 years and still serve their constituents as they think they are...none

Possibly the biggest things that piss me off re; holder (other than above) is his arrogant refusal to: comply with congress, investigate obvious crimes IE the IRS and that lying wench lois lerner, and his all too often calling this Country racist.

Now, that being said, he also accomplished many good things as well. But those accomplishments aren't divisive.....successfully prosecuted banks and terrorists, we all cheer those things on.

(and I agree with your post Orren I'd add that if the voting public weren't as ignorant as they are....much of this would not be a problem)
