There are NUMEROUS golfers listed here that are at serious risk in losing their playing cards. That would result in Q-school (a nightmare) and sponsors exemptions and other various exemptions (injury) available to the veterans like lifetime money list etc. Anyway..here is a list of the guys in jeopardy (some real notables on this list) and their present rankings as of last weeks trournament.
rank...........................tourns..$$$$
121 124 Harrison Frazar 27 $688,814
125 125 Joe Durant 25 $652,990
131 131 Jason Bohn 17 $527,512
133 132 Frank Lickliter II 25 $516,044
136 135 Corey Pavin 24 $487,569
138 142 Jesper Parnevik 23 $482,056
139 139 Ryan Palmer 25 $462,561
143 149 Mark Hensby 22 $429,731
145 143 Shigeki Maruyama 27 $425,185
146 144 Bob Tway 27 $419,566
152 148 Lee Janzen 21 $382,909
162 158 Olin Browne 13 $304,605
165 166 Greg Owen 24 $298,889
168 163 Kirk Triplett 21 $296,842
171 170 Robert Gamez 25 $282,364
172 171 Joey Sindelar 22 $280,692
173 172 Jeff Sluman 21 $273,192
178 175 John Daly 20 $236,408
179 177 Chris Riley 13 $234,522
189 186 Ben Crane 6 $189,923
203 199 Skip Kendall 5 $116,346
206 202 Darren Clarke 10 $107,981
208 206 Todd Hamilton 26 $99,426
211 208 Brad Faxon 18 $84,645
218 216 Carlos Franco 9 $65,421
227 226 Fred Couples 3 $43,085

I'd dare say that we need to add more IPO's, as many of the above will be seeing limited if any, action next year.

Thank you Rich for that info about who may need to Q School.

That is a rather long list of about 25 golfers which is almost a full market page.

Thank you for something else as well Rich.

Amazing that winning almost $700K isn't enough to keep your playing card.

I have asked myself this question more than once in the past week ; what is the cut off for keeping your tour card?

One of the answers is staying in the top 125 on the money list. There are many other ways as well I just thought of this one in the past week.

I wonder if a golfer could keep their card by winning this amount of money before Tiger?

I seem to remember and I can't remember what tournament it was but a golfer was making almost ten times as much for that same tournament win with Tiger playing on the tour in the last year or so when compared to when Tiger was not on the tour.

Come to think of it I would only really watch the Masters before Tiger came along. Tiger has had an incredible impact on golf to say the least and I am not just talking about his play on the golf course.
