Loss of a Great Writer

"David Halberstam, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author who chronicled the Washington press corps, the Vietnam War generation and baseball, was killed in a car crash Monday, a coroner said. He was 73. "


He gained most of his notoriety from writing about the Vietnam War and the Civil rights movement, but he also wrote several excellent sports books. I will truly miss reading his great works.
