did Canada really just fine a landlord 12K for not taking his freakin' shoes off when entering a muslim's home?

I don't know how that doesn't get thrown out, given supposedly he'd worn shoes into the apartment before.

And they rented for only 2 months...AND waited until they'd been gone EIGHT months before filing a grievance!

i'm not familiar with that story, but not the least surprised.

Our government is confused at the best of times :/
