5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by documented cyclical changes in the earth's climate and more affected by soccer moms driving SUV's.
6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual is natural.
7. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.
8. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach fourth graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.
9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony activists who have never been outside of San Francisco do.
10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it.
11. You have to believe that Mel Gibson spent $25 million of his own money to make "The Passion of the Christ" for financial gain only.
12. You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution.
13. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.
14. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Edison, and A.G.

15. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides are not.

Thats the funny thing about stereotyping. You can usually find a few people who fit that, but more often than not you're going to be way wrong.

For example: good Republicans get their information and news from places like Rush or Fox News, and than whine about how ALL the media is so liberal and biased.

Good Republicans will decry anyone who criticizes George W. Bush as never having saying anything positive to say about him, but will go to town destroying any reputation that someone with the last name Clinton has.

Good Republicans think that government isnt the answer, but that we're also supposed to think that they are the party of big ideas and will be able to solve whatever global/national crisis may come about.

All Republican lawmakers who are rabidly anti-homosexual are just repressed closeted gays.

There are very many successful blacks in our society, and playing the "these people are poverty stricten and cannot break the cycle" is an old and juvenile retort. Take away welfare, raise the price of public transportation, and lets see how many blacks start rising up the ranks ...

i didn't answer the question because i gave rich enough credit to know that they're exaggerations and only a damn fool would believe that they're inclusive of all who register democrat. that would be as moronic as anyone who believed the lines in my post accurately represent all who register republican.

So, explain to me why they move to large cities, rely heavy on public transportation, quite a few depend solely on welfare, and so few kids go to college?

i suggest you check out any high school US history text book. specifically look under the section covering reconstructon. it's not a secret, it's part of our history and most schools I assume cover it in 10th or 11th grade if not before. so i'm certain if you find a "credible" high school history text you'll find your answer with more detail than you'll need.

of course finding a credible history book is a trick in and of itself but that's another thread for another day.
