Default James Harden traded to...

The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded James Harden, Daequan Cook, Lazar Hayward and Cole Aldrich to the Houston Rockets for Jeremy Lamb, Kevin Martin and future draft picks, a source told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

this just blows me away.......they'd offered 4 yrs and $55.5mil, he expected a max contract of 4 yrs $60mil......and they couldn't come to an agreement even being that close?

adding Lamb and a couple first round picks is pretty nice consolation, but this has to p KD and Westbrook off....

this is a trade I NEVER would have imagined happening. There has to be more to this story IMO

looking at the deal....it looks to me like KC has nothing to be disappointed about.

Houston .....still has very little....and less than they did imo.
KC set for many years.

I think it's more a matter of the OKC front office wants to run the team, they don't want the players to run them.

I agree, they get Kevin Martin (who is no slouch) and his expiring contract, Lamb is a nice addition as well. The first round picks could be HUGE as they could easily be lottery picks.

Bottom line is that OKC got much more in return for Harden than Orlando got for Dwight Howard. I think this ruins OKC's chemistry in the short-term, but they should be just fine moving forward.
