Default Let's talk about Spurs/Suns refs

they sucked....all Suns........I saw more flagrant fouls by Suns in the 4th 1/4 then I ever remember seeing in an entire game.

Go Tiger......

Rich. You like Nash's nose??? Good grief. That poor guy is gonna need close to 20 stitches.

As far as the refs went. Bad....... very bad. Whether it was stupid calls or just non calls.

Refs did suck bigtime. I dont know which way u saw it Rich. Thought the Nash collision should of been a no call. Collision happened when Parker ludged forward and lost the ball out of bounds. Then when the ball had stopped ref throws his arm up and calls a foul. Raja got faked out and step forward to cause the contact and Raja fouled him hard. Flagrant? I dunno but wouldnt have cried if he received one. Game in the balance Amare gets hip checked by Mangu and hit on the elbow by Tim NO CALL. Barbosa and Parker coming to the ball and as Parker is using his off-hand to seperate he flops out of bounds and they get 1 FT and possesion? I thought the call before half was a huge momentum swing where Duncan falls down and they get Amare for #3 foul. I'll take the loss. Noway U allow Parker to also score 30 if U let Duncan also. Our pace but with Nash all busted up it was impossible to get over the hump. Refs didnt help at all. We needed Crawford.

Nash getting busted open was very unfortunate...an accidental head collision is what that was. That tough little SOB MVP came back in and tried like hell to win it though.

The tip in that gave Suns 84 pts was offensive goal tending...
The 2nd foul on Duncan was as phanthom as could be....on and on....

how can you expect the spurs to win? suns are everything that's wrong with the NBA. their projected 2007-2008 payroll is over 26% more than that of the spurs and that's without off season FA stealing they're bound to do. and that's with a "cap"

this is why i hate nba, big money teams making a mockery out of the sport

Rich I agree. Looked at Randy and said whooaa thought it was basket inter. Also another one was close. My favorite is when Mangu and Bell collided and they both simultaneously flopped. Raja a flopper against the leagues biggest flopper. Just watch him around the hoop. His follow through is a jerking motion. Obvious he played soccer as a kid.

Hork funny although WAY off. After parting with arguabley 1 of our top 4 players (Joe Johnson) Salary was less of a concern. How about original Suns and players who have been in a Suns jersey since day 1 in the NBA. Amare, Shawn, Steve, and Leandro. Boris and JJ have been here almost their whole careers as they were aquired while rotting on the Hawks and Pacers rookie seasons. Kurt Thomas (Seldomed used) and Jalen Rose (NEVER used) are the only real free agents. Raja was aquired from Utah after we lost Joe J. NBA has a salary cap. Luxury tax will be at 65.4 next year. Sarver will not and did not go over it this year. He is cheap. We will most likely lose one of our top 3 in Shawn Marion next season because of it. Suns have not been an abuser of any cap. If you are dumb enough to make an argument into future events that have yet to unfold then you are in a word. DUMB!
