Just finished scoring and you have another problem Kevin.....your 7th pick was Watney.......can't find him on the leaderboard.....
I took the average score of the field (+7)and counted your "7th" at that number. There were no aces.

Guess I know who I am cutting for the weekend I guess I assumed since he was playing well on tour that he was guaranteed a spot at the Open, but then there are different qualifying standards for the US open. Thanks again for putting this competition together.....your choices Rose and Stenson could prove the diff. With much better weather this weekend(less wind) , I am thinking that scores will improve a bit. Winner at -6

OK....much better scoring today. Less wind, less egos. No ACES. (I did see 2 that almost went in on 17)

Everyone had 2 players that missed the cut except for me and I have decided to cut Mickelson. Vansmak is left with only 4 players ( I used avg score from today = +7 as I did yesterday to score his....as I will do tomorrow. My thinking on that is this....if he has fewer players , he certainly has a better chance for his team to get a lower total score. That goes out the window for Sunday).

BRUTAL day......but not for the 2 guys that finished early. They never thought they'd pick up 10 shots on DJ.

kept reading that it was brutal, but nobody ever seemed to say why....pin placement alone wouldn't explain early guys having better days

ultra fast and hard greens.....combined with higher winds. In the morning they had bathed the greens with water and the wind wasn't up.... it made a huge difference. Finau and Berger were done with their rounds as the last 2-3 groups were teeing off.

Having a bit of trouble finding final $$$$$$ but Thunder and Orren are looking good. As soon as I can find a reliable final source I will let y'all know who the big winner is.
