The bulk of these formulas, including those for football, were written years ago with little to no change made to them. While the perception CAN be that multiples of things like touchdowns yield an 'extra kick' I assure you I have yet to write a formula that specifically does that...it's just how it sometimes appears.
The ONLY time I 'artificially' bump a divi outside of my formulas is the 3% given to a pole sitter in NASCAR...which is common knowledge. There's been talk about possibly including an 'extra kick' for certain things like reaching 500 yards passing or 40 points in basketball or things like that...but that hasn't been done and doesn't fit your question. In general, yes, the more a player exceeds projections, the higher his divi. That doesn't mean there aren't differences from one stat category to another, etc. All I know is I wrote these formulas years ago, any formula will have its quirks at times, and no individual player is a 'divi donkey favorite'

Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together. I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike? |
