with Morris's track record how is it that only Jokic got suspended? Was Jokic's retaliation 6X worse than what Morris did?

Morris is a punk......he has history in the league of being a punk. I remember him hitting his coach (Hornacek) in the face with a towel a few years back and other incidents.

I see it a little differently. Yeah, Morris hit first and instigated Jokic's reaction, but a blind-side retaliation that leveled the guy without warning is definitely a call for serious suspension, IMHO.

Morris probably should have gotten a bigger penalty too, given his history.

Blind side? Maybe.

When you cheap shot someone (and he did....he moved a very big man at least 3' - and he was not airborne)......only a POS punk turns his back on the guy he just f'd with. I can promise you this....if someone sucker punched me and turned his back.......I'm not going to tap him on the shoulder and wait for him to turn around so I can knock him out face to face. I'd offer that a significant majority of men would do the same. If not, I'll stand corrected.

It should have cost Morris the exact same as it cost Jokic......over 300K. He "could" have broken Jokic's ribs and put him on the IR for a while.

On the playground, you're probably right and no question his reaction would be justified re: jungle law.

But at your workplace while employed on your job and in the public spotlight, probably a different scenario. I would expect HR to suspend me, or perhaps even terminate me, if I did the same to another employee, even one who shoved me first.

But maybe I am being held to a higher standard than professional athletes.

Ok....I'll concede that may not have been a great analogy. I stand by my position anyway. Morris is a punk and he deserved an azz beating for his cheap shot. Numerous NBA retired pros agreed that Morris deserved what he got and claim they would have done the same thing. BTW....video has surfaced (attached below) of him doing the exact same thing Jokic did to him to someone else. Karma..............
