yeah i'm a jackass. but given the repeated posts on both the old and these new forums, the messages in every current league for the current JFCL season and the fact that the tourney has been the same time every year for as long as i can remember i thought no one would be caught by suprise.
this assumption (albeit obviously incorrect) was inadvertantly strengthened by the fact that we have a couple of members who no longer visit jockstocks at all and yet they were aware of the league and signed up in plenty of time. again i'm sorry i just assumed that folks actually read the messages on these forums and the active leagues message boards. like i said guess i'm just a jackass

A little defensive I see. I wouldnt call you a jackass, you just didnt follow through on your word.
I had no idea the tourney was coming up. I hate NCAA basketball, and other then the superbowl, and the monthly UFC events, I have not watched a sporting event, or Television for that matter, in almost 6 months. Being a single parent of 3 kids under 4 years, and a fulltime job does that. For you to assume I would just remember to log on here, and see the NCAA Tourney thread, after I voiced my concerns in the beggining, over seldom ever logging on here, or reading these boards, is presumptuous.

I'm not trying to cut people down... or say anything bad....
But, the tourny has been going on for years... And its always in March... Even from the past you should of known it was getting close... It was all over the Yahoo Site once the brackets were relased....

I'll be the first to admit that although it is called "March Madness", I completely forgot the tourney is when it is. I think it was the message boards that actually reminded me.
