Default Yao says Ouch!

Broken foot means out for the season. Houston was on a roll.

your fastest move is much too slow...

besides ...didn't JUST ONE WEEK AGO you say that "Yao was the most overrated person in sports"? Yeah...it was you...no doubt in my mind. So I guess my question is this...if he is the most overrated then wouldn't his injury make the Rocket's chances even better?

This really hurts Houston though, they only have Mutumbo up front to battle Shaq, Duncan, Gasol, Camby, etc. in the west and he's not going to put up 48 minutes a night. This leaves them very weak. I don't care how "overrated" or "underrated" he is. They're going to get killed now. It's a shame because they have been HOT as of late.

I wonder if Yao will be ready for the Olympics?

I don't consider Yao overrated and I DO believe he is integral to that team. Mutumbo can't play at a high enough level for a long enough duration.

The team is only as good as McGrady plays. They will be fine and still make the playoffs. Yao IS overrated.

And exactly how many times has McGrady actually won in the playoffs?

Troy. You kill me. Look at the stats between Yao and Amare. And you can sit there and say Yao is overrated??? I am sorry. Who is Houstons PG??? Whoever it is on a night to night basis doesnt compete with Nash. The league leading assist man. You take Amare off that team and you would be saying he is overrated. Yao is that good. From his rookie season to now he has learned a lot about the NBA game.

I will admit the first year Yao didn't do anything for me. However, the last year or two he has been learning alot and picking up the NBA game. He has made vast improvements in his game and I think it will continue to improve as long as this foot problem doesn't turn into one of those lingering career things.

Why bring up Amare? If I did something similiar I would be axxused of attacking the poor lil NY fans. Amare is a stud.

well at least in the regular season, he's not quite so much a stud in the post season. in fact to quote a "wise" man "he's a choker and repeatedly let's his team and their fans down in the post-season year after year"

That is just stupid talk. A guy is a choker because he gets his team to the conf. finals only to lose to Tim Duncan which is a top 20 player of all-time?
