Pick 10 and Hold'em
I have an idea to get more pick 10 players. IF it's ok with Orren...and enough of you are interested.....
How about an NBA HOLD 'EM for the month of January? Pick 10 players and that's it....you have them all month. NO flips....no changes. We could certainly talk about a couple exceptions...possibly one injury flip per month or anything like that. If any of you are interested...and Orren has no problem with it....discuss rules/options here. We have 3 days to do this. It's awful that only 3-4 players play it regularly. My hope is ....this will get more interested.

I can see about talking with Nick...tho not sure by the 1st. It MIGHT not be difficult to actually tweak the programming.
OR....I could also easily change commissions to something large enough that people would basically not flip.

Easy enough Orren.....flip once illegally and that person is no longer eligible. Would it really require more programming? Would it not work just the way it's set up?
Anyone that needs to flip for an injury would have to get it approved by the players (like a fantasy trade?)

I was just suggesting possibilities that would be built into the system is all......while indirectly implying I have no problem with the competition. As you know, it's always baffled me that more people don't play it given it's the no-moo comp many had been asking for (basically)

another thought process would be that you allow people to change lineups once a week...like on Sundays....similar to fantasy leagues allowing weekly lineup changes only

So far I see 5 that are interested....anyone else? Picks must be entered tomorrow by 5:00 PM eastern time. My suggestion would be NO flips this month. Let's play the first month and see how it goes.
Orren, we'll need your help in supervising ....picks in on time tomorrow....no flips for the month.

but...as I mentioned...if someone doesn't start on day one and still follows the no-flip rule, shouldn't matter...they'd just be missing gains from before they started, yes? I mean, it's just a matter of people taking the time...once...to pick 10 NBAers and yes, I can supervise...
