DO NOT [!!!] get the iPhone. That is all the useful advice I have.

What provider are you with?

Well, I'm open to any provider but I currently use Telus (I'm Canadian, eh). Open to Bell and Rogers...depending on price.

I was thinking Blackberry, but not too sure. iPhone is loaded with stuff, but I hate the way you keyboard and I hate the pictures it takes.

Anyone know anything about HTC?

couple of my friends have this one...
http://jump.ca/cellular/PhoneDetails?pid=10640
one has the bb as well...says Instinct is as good, without that nasty 30.00/month bb service (data package) on top of regular service.
I understand the Instinct fee for their data package is between 5 and 15 bucks.
I have a friend who works @ Jump (Billthecat)...and will prompt him to post as he knows far more about this stuff.
I will likely get Instinct for daughter christmas

I checked out the Instinct and it is too basic for my needs/wants.

HTC Hero seems to be pretty good, and I'm also toying with the idea of getting the Blackberry Bold.

Any thoughts from anyone???

I loved my old Blackberry. I would have the Storm, hands down, if I were on Verizon. But, for the cost of the data plan, and how much I use it as a smartphone, I went with the Samsung Impression, and the $10/month Internet package.
