For the record, usatoday IS where we get our stat feed from...we pull their ytd stats in. I don't know what to say about their boxes...I'm guessing there was a scoring error/change after the fact and boxes didn't get updated. Our FEED didn't have the SHG.....and the 'bible' on stats is nhl.com...even if our feed should be wrong, we'd honor nhl.com
Best I can say here is....since it's usually SHGs that are at issue...is check for penalties...if there wasn't one more guy for the team scoring than the opposition in the penalty box when the goal was scored, it can't be short handed.........think I said that right. I'll look into tosve and jonda (or whatever Damon Jones' symbol is...he was an 0fer)

my bad...tosve wasn't in led's original list....but was in my and his 2nd list at 7.58%.....
I'll run a negafix on Jones FWIW....usatoday updated...even updated an hour earlier than usual this morning.................so hopefully we're back to 'normal' there again...unless they do the same thing over Easter I guess..

I always thought it was pretty easy to confirm a shorty by looking at the penalties. and who was "in the box" when the goal was scored.
