Patrick Reed-accusations of you being

a cheater have, once again, been confirmed.
He was dismissed from University of Georgia after one year for accusations of cheating and stealing from teammates.

He's been involved in numerous controversies throughout his pro career.
But what he did yesterday in the Hero Challenge was, IMHO, blatant bushleague bullshiznit. He, of course, always denies accusations (this time blaming the camera angle)....watch and you decide............

AGAIN with this guy......did he cheat?......I hate cheaters.

I played golf for 35 years and was fortunate enough to play in numerous tournaments. There are some circumstances where a rules official is needed....but most penalty shot situations are able to be adjudicated by playing partners. One of those is an embedded ball. If the ball breaks the ground surface and sits way down....you would normally get relief with no penalty. When a player suspects that he has an embedded lie, the appropriate thing for him to do is to call an official or, at the very least, call over a playing partner and get their opinion on the lie. What you NEVERdo is to pick-up the ball yourself before anyone else has had the chance to look at it and then tell the official (or whomever) what happened.

Check this out and if you choose to....post an opinion. I'll wait for a while before I post my opinion.

I saw NONE of it, just know what I read.....which resulted in officials saying neither he or McIlroy? did anything wrong. He supposedly asked the golfers he was playing with before picking up his ball, but I don't know all the idiosynchrosies of the rules of golf; I'd have to play more to even be considered a duffer.

The right and honorable thing to do was to NOT touch the ball until an official came. He was poking around that lie long enough to make it appear as an imbedded ball. Only he knows what that lie was really like. The ball bounced.....about a foot or so. I have NEVER seen a ball bounce like that and embed.
