Well now.........
ACORN is disbanding! Their 2 largest factions..NY and California broke away after the last scandal...and changed their name. The rest is woefully short on raising funds to continue. To that I say.......

They'll be back under a different name. They are doing this because their name became too volatile after the scandals

No matter what name they come up with they shoudn't be getting a government funding. As far as I am concerned they are not doing anybodyu any good.
They used to be next door to my office for several years preparing tax returns for free. They never had reuglar office hours and many times were not there when they said that they would be. They rented the office space for the entire year but would only be there about 2 to 2 1/2 months out of the year. As far as I am concerned this is a real waste of public and or private funding.
