Default Regardless of tonight's outcome

I have to tip my hat (even if it hurts me to do so) to the NY Giants, at least they came to play.....

And of course regardless of who wins all cheating cracks aside how amazing are the Patriots? Again have to tip my hat to one of the most amazing seasons I've ever seen in professional sports.

I think this game showed how good the Pats really are. They definitely came out flat thinking the Giants wouldn't play some starters. When push came to shove in the fourth quarter the Pats really dominated. Hopefully they don't think they can just turn it on when they need to because Jacksonville, Indy and San Diego are much better than the Giants.

Two complaints about the game. 1 the announcers. Everything about the game was "huge". 2 the celebration penalty against the Pats when Moss got the TD record. I guess 2 players constitute a team in the NFL now.

If a team is at all able to LOSE a game and go into the playoffs with some serious "mo"....the Giants have done that.

Great game......IMHO the team that has the best chance to knock off the Pats (and I do NOT think it will happen) will be the team that faces them in the Superbowl. Going into Foxboro and getting a win is very rare.

Manning finally looked like he should as a pro QB. The Pats are just that good.

Hey,

Change it to whatever you want, but everyone knows they cheated this year for sure and probably past years to get where they are.

It is quite probable that they could done it this year without cheating but this team will be forever tainted, just like the steroid users/cheaters of baseball.

They should probably throw them right out of the league.

Hey,

No, but there should have been more severe penalties than the slap on the hand they got.

Including the minor slap they got from the league.
Forfeit all games prior to and including the game they got caught.
No playoffs for two years.
No HOF consideration for any member/coach of the team.
Coaches banned for five years.
Owner fined five million dollars.

Too drastic....IMHO. The ONLY diff between the Pats and everyone else is that the Pats got caught. They (Pats) know it...the Jets know it, the entire league knows it.

I will say this, however.........the league SHOULD have taken their BEST 1st round pick....not their own 1st round pick.

I mean....it doesn't hurt much to lose the 30th overall pick when you've got the #7 overall pick anyway.....

Hey,

It takes something drastic to make these idiots realize, it's more than just a game and they have a responsibility to play by the rules and that there are severe penalties for cheating.

Any team caught cheating should be put through the ringer as it really sends a message to others.

at the very least they should have lost all first day picks in next years draft and faced stiffer fines.

i wouldn't be above seeing a post-season ban either. pretty sad when we hold our collegiate and high-school athletic programs to a higher standard than "professionals" even sadder when we're willing to turn a blind eye because everyone else is doing it.
