Default It's official.....

Well it seems as though NASCAR (where every big name gets in) is the only one of the big four sports that understands the concept of an all-star

First we have the taylor snub in the NFL, then there's the countless annual snubs in MLB in favor of undeserving big names, and now Baron Davis gets snubbed in the NBA?

Roy. He's having a stellar year no doubt but he trails paul, davis, and even nash in almost every category.

oh please nothing. look at the stats. there is no way by going by stats that he should be in. Not even a portland fan could say they would want Roy over Baron. A honest one anyway.

You didn't ask whether I thought he should be there over Baron...if you see above, I agreed he probably shouldn't have been. I was simply disagreeing with your take that his selection was 'bought'.

Portland was hot for a while but with Davis and the Warriors rallying from a poor start I give the nod to the Vet who is the heart of that team. I mean Stephen Jackson has a beef but Camby was the biggest snub here. Shawn Marion is only a stud but I guess no all-star this year.

Funny thing is McGrady usually gravytrains the Asian vote (see Yao Ming) but was beat by Iverson with a late surge and now not only is he not starting but he ain't playin. That whole Asian vote is ridiculous IMO.

Thank goodness its only your opinion.

IMO - the whole all star voting is riduculous.... There should be more weight on the coaches and players then the fans.... But then again thats just one mans opinion.

Not just in the NBA, but all the sports that have fan voting. If they are going to have fan voting then only caucasian Americans should be allowed to vote
