Three day NFL draft.

Starting next year the NFL draft will start on a Thursday evening and end on a Saturday.

How are some people going to drink and party during the first round of the draft now when they will have to go to work in the morning?

Not very well planned out by the powers that be in the NFL that decided this was a good thing in the first place.

Why not start the draft on a Friday evening so people can get their drinking and partying in and not have to worry about the next morning.

Plus a team has extra time for the second round because it will be on Friday night starting next year.

This seems a little odd to me for some reason. I know the NFL wants as much face time as possible. But what percentage of people will even watch rounds four through seven which will be on a Saturday evening.

It doesn't really matter to me actually. I just watch the first couple of picks or until my team picks in the first round and that is it anyway.

So sorry on the "newer" forums I don't even know how to do a poll. So I will just have to ask the old fashioned way what day should the NFL draft start on. Thursday, Friday, or on a Saturday.

Come to think of it this decision may have been by ESPN and the NFL just went along with it because ESPN is the one that broadcasts the draft in the first place.
