Powerpoint
not sure that anything on my puter has changed but.....
where I was able to open pps files before I am no longer able to. Before the prompt was always open or save...I'd click on open and the pps would open easily. Now when I click on open another window opens promptin to save the document with a converter of some kind. no "open" option.so....I click save and get anopther window pop-up that says converter unable to save document. I've been to MS to search for a fix for this issue and can find nothing. anyone seen'heard of this issue?

weird. i lost the ability to just open them too, but i'm still able to save and then open them.

has this issue coincided with getting the new puter with Office 2007 Rich?
not that I have the answer yet, if it does....but it'd at least narrow the search... see if this link helps...it might just be that extension needs to be 'turned on'- http://en.kioskea.net/faq/sujet-190-opening-a-pps-file

I'm pretty confident my last words will be 'well crap, that didn't work'. Of all the things I've lost over the years, I think I miss my metabolism most of all.
