Default So who's sitting out game five?

Obviously Horry will miss it.

But if the league offices follow the rules game five will be missing both stoudamire and diaw from phoenix and at least duncan from the spurs and possibly bowen.

Normally I'd say that's not likely to happen but rules are rules as Ewing found out a few years back.

Big Shot Bob gets 2 games.

Stoudamire and Diaw both gets a game.

OK at the risk of getting yelled at for being confrontational and starting problems......I think this is a bit unfair. Granted both stoudamire and diaw deserve by the rules to be suspended no arguing there. But by those same rules so too should duncan and bowen. In such a pivotal game in the post season, it seems hardly fair to not be consistent in your disciplinary sentences.

For anyone who disagrees, let me say now I completely respect and value your opinion. I encourage you to post it just please so as to avoid any unnecessary chastising do so without any feeling or conviction.

I watched that Bowen/Nash play at least a dozen times...and while I agree that it could be seen as dirty....I can tell you that if Nash was in my jock the way he was in Bowens...I'd have done almost whatever it took to get him off me too. That being said....I am NOT saying I would intentionally knee him in the nads (and I do not think Bowen did so intentionally...he did not lift his knee high enough off the floor to be certain without a doubt...that is simply my opinion).

i'm not talking about the foul, i'm talking about last night's game. in the second quarter robinson left the bench during an altercation and walked out onto the floor (admittedly only about 5 or 6 steps) and bowen came out after him to bring him back but again illegally entered the court which as stoudamire and diaw know warrants a suspension.

It is the play Ellson dunked and hung on the rim and his momentum carried him onto the back/neck of James Jones and it was a bit awkward. Both Duncan and Bowen came off the bench. RULES are RULES? No not in this thug league. Where thug actions get preferential treatment. Hork without the drama I agree with U here and Rich's reaction cheering this decision is beyond disturbing. It is human nature to wanna stick up for the lil guy. When your leader gets blasted into the first row of course your gonna take a step or two until cooler heads prevail. A punka$$ move get rewarded. We all saw the achillees kick and the nad blast from Bowen...now here is a foot stomp on a Amare dunk attempt. This idiot needs a few games off.

so .....my opinion disturbs you troy? That's unfortunate as I thought we were all entitled to our own opinion. I'm curious what your position is on Bowen getting thumped into the 6th row in that game?

for the record...the "toast"....not "cheering" was for the Spurs getting the advantage....not anything to do with the equity or INequity of the decision.

Cutting thru all else that went on....or didn't go on....I've read nothing that tells me there's an ounce of fairness to the Suns losing 2 significant players for a game w/o the Spurs suffering the same fate.

By the letter of the 'law', Amare and Boris were on the floor when they shouldn't have been. But they also got nowhere near being involved in the situation. Meanwhile, there are obvious questions about conduct of Spurs players (most noteably Bowen) that are more agregious than setting foot on the court while not in the game.

Am I saying there weren't enough suspensions? Nope. I'm saying there were too many. IMO this should have been fines at most even if this were the regular season...the fact that it's the playoffs means it should be viewed from a different angle. These players, these teams, worked all year to get here.

If ever there should have been a 'no call' it was here. Fine 'em, but let 'em play- you owe it to the fans.

I think any true sports fan would say something like this:
So advantage Spurs

I mean this is horrible. Bowen got a walk for at least 2 maybe 3 snipes at the rulebook and then the lil incident where him and Duncan left the bench. Nothing. Also noway is this fair, IMO Spurs have played like thugs and now they get the ultimate reward. Fans and players are now high-fiving Horry for getting the advantage in this series. Our 2nd best player and 2nd best bench player gets yanked for there guy in the 4th qtr who plays about 10 mins on a good day. The same guy who caused all this with 18 secs left?? This adds to the lobsided boning Amare and the Suns have received this series. So now the Suns have to play with a 6 man rotation since they were on a 8-man before? Now James Jones and Barbosa need to come off the bench for 50 combined?? This pisses me off bigtime. Thanks for the boning Stern.
