Now that I'm a gov't type...and directly involved with how/when new puters are purchased for the department....I've raised the question of why we would automatically buy someone a new one every 4 years given the main reason is that had been the case, the HD starts getting weak. Some of our software is on the network, and Office 365 is around the corner...so there will be even less actually ON hard drives. We're heading to the point that with more and more cloud software...and solid state drives....when would a hard drive ever go bad?

I'm pretty confident my last words will be 'well crap, that didn't work'. Of all the things I've lost over the years, I think I miss my metabolism most of all. Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together. I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike? |
