Default More BuSh logic

Now, wouldn't it be against the law to create a law that by its very nature violates the law of the land? This man's logic (or lack thereof) continues even after all this time to elude me.

I think someone ought to introduce a bill to make it mandatory that any person running for federal office be able to pass a civics exam prior to be allowed on any ballot. Just think of the problems it would have saved the world over the past six years or so.

Speaking of civics I do not find in this article where it says this is an executive order by the president.

So that means this must have come from the congress. Which party loves to run around and say they are in control of the congress now? So if this is so horrible as the article tries to portray it how did it come into being that the president signed it into law? I know the president has talked about this year he wants to get this done. But why would the congress all of sudden give the president something he wants and now the president wants even more expansive powers as this article clearly points out.

Is this just another in a long list of political games democrats in the congress are playing? Maybe the congress just rushed this through so they could have recess. I am trying to remember which party has the powers of the majority to say which pieces of legislation are and are not going to be voted on on the senate floor. Or it could just be that this did not even go through committee process that is also controlled by the majority. But that can not be right because most pieces of legislation start in a committee before they ever reach the floor in either body in the congress.

It is going to be interesting to me if the people look at what is going on in Washington the same way that I do. I am quite sure that I can't even imagine the amount of people that may not say what I am saying quite the way I would but they are thinking along the same lines I am.

I am trying to remember if this was attached to Minnesota is going to need a new bridge legislation or not?
