Would be laughable if it wasn't so sad
"China, host of the summer Olympics, is an authoritarian nation that denies its people basic human rights and freedoms, harasses journalists and foreign aid workers and tortures prisoners, the United States charged Tuesday." taken from the AP wire
ummm..... it's bad to harass journalists? does that count for US journalists too? and it's bad to harass and prosecute folks for reaching out to their fellow man? and since when is torture a bad thing as long as it's confined to prisoners? surely no one in the US would argue that. i wonder if folks actually ever think about what they place into print and how it makes them and those they represent look to everyone else?
