A lot of people locally are hoping Warner returns. I hope he retires. Time to work in Leinart or trade him. I saw Warner struggle on the ground. It was sickening and I dont want him to get hurt again like that. Great career and time to be with the family and get ready for the Hall. I know 10 million for a year's work is a lot. Heck I may risk my health for it.
But he has earned plenty to be comfortable.

I saw THAT play...but didn't see a cheapshot. Warner wasn't "shufflin'"..........he was pissed and had a tackle in his mind. Deal with this ....you always bring something/someone else into your arguments........wtf? Sanchez has nothing to do with this. I like warner....and always have.....I've posted that here recently too.

it wasn't a cheap shot. he was heading toward the ball which one has to assume was to make a play (which is an admirable quality in a qb given most simply remove themselves from any form of contact). at that point he became a legal target for a clean block. yes it was a solid block but (and even kurt would tell ya) it was 100% clean, legal, and warranted.

I'm a huge Warner fan...couldn't say a SINGLE THING bad about him as a QB or as a person.......not a single thing. I, nor he, in any way, shape, or form would classify that as a cheap shot. He was working his way into the play and looking to make a tackle and got knocked down.
The absolute MOST you could say is the guy could've seen who it was and not hit him AS hard............tell me, what happens if the guy lets up, misses Warner, and Warner directly effects the play......then Saints fans are saying he should've taken Warner out harder. Bottom line is, QBs are coddled MORE than enough already...every one of 'em would agree that if they're gonna get involved in plays like that, they're no different than any other player on the field.

Are you guys forgetting the rule change they made cuz of Hines Ward. Could of swore those blasts from the blindside were to be looked at when cracking back on a defenseless player. I mean he couldnt see Warner's numbers. We I played the game the rule was you gotta see the numbers to make a legal block. Looked more like a free shot on he QB and he took it. Whether it was legal or not he used a force you didnt see on any other Cards player. Just sayin.

Troy, look at the video again...he most certainly could see Kurt's numbers...and Kurt was the closest Cardinal with a chance at the ball carrier. You can say he didn't need to hit him as hard....but remember, Kurt ran right into the hit, not having a clue a hit was coming...those hits always look harder...

I mean if Warner is facing that way and McCrary is facing that way. How can he see the numbers in front? This isnt hockey. Heck it may be a penalty in NHL too. Also 2 lineman and a stud RB right there but ------- goes for the limber 40 yr old. Beanie is most likely to make the play and McCrary passes all 3 to blast Warner earholing him to the ground. I would of taken out Brees knees if I was Dockett.

replay shows it was clean and not from the back.
here's the whole hit in motion notice how warner ends up on his back, impossible to do if hit from behind. note too how warner was clearly pursuing the ball carrier. making him a legit target for a block. again i respect the fact he didn't remove himself from the play, but can see not one thing wrong at all with the hit laid on him by mccray.
