Not all of the DC's, but the remaining 3 DC's the Broncos will face in the regular season and any potential playoff opponent. They we're definetly on my mind with that post, plus all of the doubters that the Bears could have stopped them. By using the word learning, I was just putting an exclamation point to what I was saying all week.

-I said the Bears would shut down McGahee (check) 17 carries 34 yds.
-i said the Bears would make Tebow pass (check) 40 pass attempts
-I said the Bears would expose Tebow to be the bad passer he is (check) 11 straight incompletions and a below 20 QB rating for most of the game. As repeated earlier, any QB in the league would have put up equal or better numbers at the end of game with the way the Bears played pass defense.

Much was learned.
- How to stop the read option, Tebow and Mcgahee.
- What not to do at the end of the game.

And this was done by a good defense, not a real good or excellent defense.

Only Tebow could turn this into a compliment.

lol!! Sometimes I think he is living in his own fairy tale world. Maybe he is just seeing only the good in people and thinking Brian would never make a back handed comment like that.

Nothing else needed to be said as the Bears showed how to defend Denver's offense and showed what not to do at the end of the game. I'm just responding to replies that came after my initial post.

I don't know any converts from people like myself who know that Tebow is a lousy passer. People are not converting because they know bad passing skills and bad passing mechanics etc when they see it. It has nothing to do with his religious beliefs etc..... and all the other stuff that people try to make it out to be. He is a slightly below average overall QB who is way below average in passing skills. He has awesome intangibles in determination and a will to win, but sooner or later the lack of passing skills will catch up with him. If he somehow becomes even an average passer then we may really see special stuff. Maybe not though, because if he is an average passer the Broncos would be winning games earlier in the game and there would be less game ending heroics. IMO

Or, he just doesn't let the 'slight backhanded comments' get to him?

Most probably that is the case. Bigger fish to fry

I don't buy that or else he is lying to us with his comment. If he knows what Brian is saying he would not lie and make that comment. Tim is smart and could have phrased his answer which would have been truthful and at the same time not made it appear that he was not bothered by the comment.

Tebow is just a genuinely nice kid who sees the good in everybody and every thing they say. Uhrlacher complimented his running ability so he thanked him for it. He didn't automatically go where the more cynical person (read most of us) went...that it was a slight at best..

I'll say this much, tho...

I'd take a quarterback with a 0% completion percentage as long as he wins games.

Measure Tebow's individual stats as much as you want...the Bronco fans, like most fans, just care about W's ... everyone else is so concerned about how bad Tebow will be...

Reminds of the Flutie era in the NFL...

He was too short to ever make it in the pros...so it was said.
