MLB expands playoffs to 2 wild cards
So...now there'll be TWO wild card teams in each league
...who'll meet in a 1 game playoff to see who moves on Like? Dislike? Hate?

Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together. I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike?

see IMO it DOWNGRADES the value of the ORIGINAL wild card
...up til now, if a team earned the WC they may be facing the team with the best record, but they were on otherwise equal footing since they played an entire series against them ......now, that team is at the mercy of the anomolies of a single game So, what does Bud think when the Yankees or Phillies miss their division by one game, don't have their ace for the 1 game playoff.......and are eliminated in game 163

Would be wierd if there were a a one game playoff tie breaker in order to get into the one game wild card game. I like it though. Teams that win more games over the course of a 162 game season deserve a little bit more of an advantage. I wonder how many days before these new wild card games, and the first game of their playoff. Would force the #1 pitcher out of game 1.
