FWIW, I was confused by that definition too. But I tend to avoid posting in threads started by Troy, as the flame wars in those are far more intense than the ones we have on the political side

the only way i can interpret those definitions to make sense is that by involvement he meant moral mandating (i.e., telling us what is and isn't acceptable on a moral level).

of course that's a trademark of the neo-con (and an artifact of the religious fundamentalists) not of the more traditional conservative.

but like i said, labels to me are ludicrous it's far more important to have informed opinions on issues and make decisions based on those not on some label or where one thinks they belong.
