you realize they won, yes?

was it because it wasn't by 43 points?

Yeah, I realize they won, but if they're going to make comparisons about the "Dream Team" and even wear their throwback jerseys then they need to step up their game and play like it. Other than Durant they were disappointing.

29-64 from the field?
15-26 from the line?

A wise man once said, "It's not how you play the game, it's whether you win or lose." Or something like that.

Keep in mind when the original Dream Team was made I believe it was the first year the Olympics let NBA players to play. So of course they where gonna dominate. Not only that the teams that are playing in the Olympics now have played together for years. An yes coaching has got better. So to think they will win by a average of 44 pts is asking a lot.

42 pts on the other hand is visible

it was the first year the US allowed professionals on their Olympic team....but it was in response to other countries doing so for years before

the result was the same, however.....at that time US basketball was head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the world......not nearly the same now

I just think if they're going to talk the talk and say that they're "BETTER" than the best team ever assembled, then they should play like it. I'm not saying that they should've won by 44 points, but I'd at least expect a 10+ point win. At least...
